The Employment Program helps high-risk young adults, ages 18-21, overcome multiple barriers to obtaining and maintaining employment. Services include training in the job search process, resume writing, interviewing, appropriate workplace behaviors and job retention skills.  Each client is assisted in identifying career goals, possible barriers, and then provided the tools to overcome those barriers. Childcare is available to teen parents on a limited basis. Nearly 100 high-risk young adults ages 18-21 overcome multiple barriers to find and sustain productive employment by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge and linking them to potential employers. Helping them to enter the workforce as young adults increases their potential lifetime earnings, thereby improving their life trajectory.
